This is a true conversation that happened between the challenge creator and his flag.
Elma: "Hey I need a challenge for HackBash, can you find a way to hide yourself?"

When we connect to the server, we are introduced with a Linux shell with many odd files/folders inside that are numbered. By running ls -l , we are able to gain a better understanding of what each file/directory is.

Based on the 49 folders that are present, we can identify that all of them has 2 items except for a folder with 51 items. Within the folder, we will find ourselves in a similar situation above, where we have another file and 49 more directories.
The idea is that there is 49 folders and 1 file that contains a singular character of the flag. Within the 49 folders, 1 of them consists another 49 folder and 1 file that contains the next character of the flag. Rinse and repeat, do this 200 times and you will get the flag! However, we do not have the energy or the time to do this.
There is a very useful linux command, find, that allows you to find files/folders that fits a certain criteria.
find . -type f — this command lists all files that are found within the local directory (.).
